Many products cause injuries every year.  But, sometimes people are unaware they may have recourse for injuries caused by products.  What recourse?  In Alabama, there is the Extended Manufacturer’s Liability Doctrine (AEMLD).  Essentially, that doctrine says that a person injured by a product must prove:

1.  The product was in an “unreasonably” dangerous and defective condition when sold; and
2.  The seller was engaged in the business of selling said product which was expected to reach the consumer without substantial change in the condition it was sold.

On MSN today, there was a list of the 20 most dangerous products in the United States.  You can read about them here.
